Posted by admin with No Comments

Greg announced last night that he is part of a new Indie Film called “And Then There Was You.” I happened to noticed it on his IMDB page and been trying to figure out if it was not a mistake, I know they have been known to do that from time to time. Wanted to know before I said anything, but glad Greg annouced. Here is a bit about the movies and an article on it.

Natalie resorts to picking up the pieces of her life after her husband leaves her for the family he has outside. she falls in love with Darrell, but he has secrets of his own. Can Natalie handle any more secrets?

Garcelle Beauvais has signed on to star in And Then There Was You, an indie drama being directed by Leila Djansi.

Beauvais stars as a teacher who has to pick up the pieces of her life after her husband leaves. When she falls for a new man, she discovers he, too, has possible relationship-ending secrets. Djansi wrote the script.

Suzanne Patrick, Ryan Daly and Tim Taylor are producing. Dave Harper is executive producing.

Also in the movie are Lynn Whitfield, Greg Vaughan, Leon Robinson, Kate Nauta and Trilby Glover.

Shooting is due to start in May in Los Angeles.

The project is being made as a Turning Point Pictures production in association with OHTV, headed by Akin Salami and Michael Djaba.

Posted by admin with No Comments

Finally we get a date of when the Hallmark Movie Greg and Alison Sweeney star it. It will air Saturday July 13th, at 9pm et./pt. 8pm ct. Once again here is some information about the movie and some production stills. Two In also stars Edward Asner, Charlotte Labadie, and Benjamin Stockham.

Jenny McLean (Sweeney) is a single mom working at a 911-call center struggling to make ends meet and raise her two kids, Elsie (Labadie) and Luke (Stockham). Although still reeling from her divorce, Jenny can’t help but flirt when she gets emergency calls from Jeff (Vaughan), a local firefighter she nicknames “Cowboy” for his handsome voice. But when she gets a call that Jeff has been hurt in a fire, she is determined to finally meet him face-to-face. With a broken leg and strict doctor’s orders not to walk on it or climb any stairs, Jeff needs a first-floor apartment where he can recover and Jenny is looking to rent out her guest room to earn extra income. Brought together by the unusual circumstances, Jeff soon moves in and becomes part of the family and Jenny is reluctantly falling for him. After learning from Jeff’s firefighter friend Buddy (Asner) how Jeff’s father died as a fireman in the line of duty and after Jenny receives a 911 call from a police officer in a car chase who ends up dying, Jenny is reminded of how dangerous his job is and has to decide if her family can take a risk to let love in again.

Five of a Kind: Greg Vaughan

Posted by admin with No Comments

Soaptown: How did the role of Eric come about for you?
Greg Vaughan: I was just one of the many that were fighting for a job. I got a call, asking if I wanted to come in to read. I said I was interested and what’s the role. They gave me a breakdown, but they didn’t give me a name or anything. But there was a few things I needed to understand (about the character) before moving forward. It was a good time and a good character and what made it even more of a decision for me was the challenge of the priesthood! It’s against every role I’ve ever done – I would’ve never anticipated me being that guy! The journey already has been so rewarding and I know that the decision was right.

Soaptown: On screen the transition seemed very smooth. It felt like you’ve belonged here in Salem all along. How was in for you in real life?
Vaughan: It’s been fun, it really has. There’s an exciting energy there and a great amount of people that really take pride in their work. It’s a blessing and I’ve always felt that in any work I’ve ever done in life. But to see that reciprocated on the same level, and everybody coming in and performing and having fun and laughing. Everyone really took me in so hopefully that is what made it translate on screen better. Everybody was very, very welcome.

Soaptown: Are you concerned that Eric being in the priesthood might limit his story potential?
Vaughan: I think it just adds more to the fire!

Soaptown
: Right now, he’s just counseling everybody, but you know, some of them need it!
Vaughan: I need it! (laughs) I’m looking for Father Matt and wondering, hey where is my time?

Soaptown: Why should fans tune in to Days?
Vaughan: I understand there’s a great fan base, and those that have seen my journey and my career, I hope they come on board too. I’m excited to be a part of this and the journey every day is new for me too. I don’t know what is coming down the pipeline. I don’t ask questions. But what they’ve been putting in front of me is fun and I’m enjoying it. So I keep trying to paint a nice beautiful picture.

Soaptown
: What would you like to see ahead for Eric?
Vaughan: It’s too early for me to have a personal take on what I would like to see different. I am involved with so many people right out of the gate and what’s coming down the pipeline for others as well as myself – they have really mapped out a nice little arc for me and it’s been really good. I’m just really holding the torch loud and proud for the moment!
